In Vietnam there is a very beautiful flower. It’s called Lotus. The lotus is grown underwater and has many petals. The lotus is seed-pink in color, with a very large pistil in the middle. These silk scarves have been painted the lotus. It’s called the lotus silk painting.

The debut event runs with the theme of “Thu Hà Nội - Đến để yêu” (Come to fall in love) with the aim of honouring heritage sites and landscapes, promoting cultural values and tourism products of the capital, as well as attracting more tourists. The festival's highlight will be a carnival featuring the participation of thousands of people on October 1 at a pedestrian zone set up around Hoan Kiem Lake.
