Public service is dedicated to serving the public interest. OOTR salutes and honors all public servants for their service, sacrifice, hardwork and dedication in serving the people of Samoa.

Today, OOTR observed the Public Service Day by actively engaging and discussing the key concepts of Innovation, Accountability, Participation and Inclusion in support of transforming public institutions. OOTR staff also demonstrated their artistic talent and creative expressions during the art competition activity.

Huge congratulations to our Principal Complaints Evaluation & Service Improvement Officer, Mr. Aulaganofo Poutasi Sagapolutele, who graduated today from the University of the South Pacific with a Professional Diploma in Public Sector Management! 👏

🧠⚙️Commemoration of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026 ⚙️🧠

In commemorating this year’s World Day for Safety and Health, the Office of the Regulator (OOTR) conducted a meaningful session with our staff this afternoon under the theme:

🌟“Good psychosocial working environment: A pathway to thriving workers and strong organization”🌟

📝Staff members were asked to identify psychosocial hazards relevant to their work and provide practical suggestions for addressing them. This activity was followed by an open and productive dialogue amongst staff, fostering shared insights and collective commitment. 🗣️🤝
