Janet Diiorio for Ridley School Board

Well my campaign this year for a position on the School Board has come up a little short, like 48 votes short. I want to give a shout out to the other two Democratic school board candidates on the ballot, Meg Conboy from Ridley Park and Jon Kochavi from Folsom and also our two Commissioner candidates, Steve Strazdus and Jack Praizner. We all worked very hard to get our message out.

I want to thank everyone who helped and supported us on this run. You heard the expression, "It takes a village", well it certainly does. Everyone who stuffed envelopes, posted social media, knocked on doors, put up lawn signs, spread the word to their family and friends, worked inside the polling places and were greeting voters outside... THANK YOU!! Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a safe and healthy Holiday Season!

Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour tonight..an extra hour of sleep!! Enjoy your last sunset of the evening. The sun will only be out until late afternoon for the next couple of months.
