Humphrey is a happy go-lucky chap. He is very friendly with the people he meets, though sometimes he can be a little shy around new men until he gets to know them. We have not seen him around children, so we are unsure how he would react with them; however, we believe he would prefer a home with adults and could be an ideal companion for a senior.

Humphrey’s happy attitude goes with him on his walks which he thoroughly enjoys along with time in a fenced backyard. He likes other dogs, but we do not know about cats.

He is crate trained, and it is open and available to him in his foster home if he feels he needs it. So far, his foster mom has not seen him use it.

Humphrey was raised as an only dog until he came into foster care. He has adjusted to sharing his toys with the other dogs and is learning that the other dogs can sleep in his nighttime bed during the day although he is still a bit skeptical about this.

Humphrey would likely prefer a home where he is the only dog again. He likes to be the center of your world, sitting with you and happily letting you groom him and love him. In exchange, he will give you lots of love, and a lot of joy as you watch this happy go-lucky chap enjoy each and every day!

Humphrey is being fostered in South Carolina.

Spud walks well on a leash, is crate-trained, and housebroken. He is reserved when meeting new people, but adjusts over time. Once comfortable, he has grown to love his foster family, both the husband and wife. He has adjusted very well.

Spud is very active. He loves his toys, other dogs, and running in a yard. He requires a strong, active family with a fenced-in yard and a companion dog. He needs to be able to burn off his energy.

He would love activities such as hiking and boating.

We are not sure how he would do with children as he has not been around any.

Spud is not a lap dog; he is most comfortable playing with toys and racing around the yard.

At 18 pounds, he may sound overweight, but he is pure muscle. He is strong and needs an owner who can handle his strength and activity levels.

We hope Spud is soon able to meet his person, who can also meet his energy needs.

Spud is currently being fostered in Florida.
