ചൈനീസ് ബ്രാൻഡ് CCTV ക്യാമറകൾക്ക് വിലക്ക്
മാധ്യമ വാർത്തകൾ കേട്ട് പലരും വിളിച്ചു.
പാതി സത്യം എന്ന് പറയാം..
രണ്ട് വർഷം മുൻപേ ഗവണ്മെൻറ് എല്ലാ കമ്പനികൾക്കും നിർദേശം നൽകിയതാണ്. രാജ്യ സുരക്ഷയെ കണക്കാക്കി വർധിച്ചുവരുന്ന സെക്യൂരിറ്റി സിസ്റ്റം മാർക്കറ്റ് മുന്നിൽ കണ്ട് ചെയ്ത നടപടിയാണ് ഈ വിലക്ക്.
അതിന് പ്രകാരം ഐപി നെറ്റ്വർക്ക് ക്യാമറകൾക്ക് STQC സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് നിർബന്ധമാക്കി. ഇന്ത്യൻ ബ്രാൻഡുകളെ കൂടുതൽ സപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യാൻ വേണ്ടിക്കൂടിയാണ് ഇത്തരത്തിൽ ഒരു നിബന്ധന.
അതായത് ഇൻ്റർനെറ്റിൽ നേരിട്ട് connect ചെയ്യുന്ന തരം ക്യാമറകൾ goverment ലാബുകളിൽ ടെസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്ത് സുരക്ഷിതവും ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്റ്റാൻഡേർഡ് ഉള്ളതുമായ പ്രൊഡക്ട് ആണെന്നും ഉറപ്പ് വരുത്തണം.
STQC ഇല്ലാത്ത NETWORK ക്യാമറകൾ ഏപ്രിൽ 1 മുതൽ വിൽക്കാൻ പാടില്ല. എന്നാല് നിലവിലുള്ളതിന് പ്രവർത്തനാനുമതി നിഷേധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. നിലവിൽ എങ്ങനെയാണോ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്, അതുപോലെ തുടർന്നും പ്രവർത്തിക്കും.
സാധാരണ വീടുകളിൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റാൾ ചെയ്യുന്ന അനലോഗ് ക്യാമറകൾക്ക് ഈ നിബന്ധനകൾ ബാധകമല്ല.
