This album is a love letter to my new home of Porto, Portugal and more importantly, to , the shop here for which it is named. Every Wednesday I go to Mercado 48 to play piano and have lunch with its proprietor, Zé Moutinho. All 15 of these songs were written there, as customers wandered and browsed around me.

I had the pleasure of working with some incredible artists and musicians. I am deeply grateful for the talent and imagination they brought to these songs. The full credits are here:

P.S. .. The vinyl is extremely limited which is why I have restricted purchase to within Europe. Bandcamp won't let me not sell it in the US because that is where my account is based so that is why the shipping is set to $200 (the max) as a deterrent.I know that's a little annoying but trust me - shipping from Portugal is a minefield. I do hope to re-press and have more copies.
