I woke up one day and dropped everything I was doing in my past life. I left corporate life in pursuit of passions. I started fresh, happy, and focused on living!
For me, this included focus on travel & adventure ... health & family ... and, of course, MY MUSIC!
I’ve been a musician virtually my entire life ... performing in bands and writing original music for over 40 years. Because of my wide diversity of influences, I perform & release original material under 2 monikers ... “Zeek Mitchell” (pop & power pop based with classic & singer-songwriter influences) ... and “Z” (rock based with edgier & alternative influences like psychedelic, trip hop, funk & blues). Under these monikers, I perform solo, duo, trio, and larger bands. I also collaborate with various other artists & bands. And I periodically pursue special projects ... for example, my David Bowie tribute band “haZy cosmic jive”.
