☀️ Let’s have a spotlight moment for this beautiful art piece featured in our Indigenous Knowledge Centre (IKC)! Crafted and donated by a student, there’s many different ways to learn about creation stories with Deyohahá:ge:!
💬 Let's learn what Deyohahá:ge: Indigenous Knowledge Centre wants you to know about this snapshot:
“The Bachelor of Arts in Ogwehoweh Languages has a course called: Introduction to Hodinohsó:ni Stories, and one of the Final projects was to create a 3D Art piece, in any medium, about the Hodinohsó:ni Creation Story.
“There were some amazing things that were created! One student donated their creation to us here at Deyohaha':ge:! The student works with wood and it was one of those ‘meant-to-be’ moments! It naturally fit with the idea he had.
In our Centre we have paintings and drawings about the Creation as well as many different versions!”
💜 We love when education and creativity intersects!
