Love them or loathe them, people are all we have, and it is through them, not despite them, that we may delve into the greater depths of our own being.

We are creative by nature; through making, we come to understand our existence . We come to know not only the other but also, with a bit of Grace, ourselves.

I recently gave a creative therapy workshop with in the heart of the Cevennes National Park, France. 🙂

We may welcome a sadness,
an anxiety, a depression
as visitors from the Unknown,
benevolent in their intent:
to remind us of what we have forgotten.
While we wander outward,
hungry, in search of breadcrumbs,
within us reside
all the wheat mills of God.
