Ma mise en abîme du défilé SUSPICIOUS SS23. Rencontre entre les icônes Marilyn Monroe et Iggy Pop.

L’héritage Galliano, Margiela, Balmain, McQueen et bien d’autres, était purement porté dans une autre sphère : celle de Marylin Monroe et Iggy Pop,  dans une chorégraphie entre beautés vampiriques et performances techno provocatrices, avec une fidélité imparfaite à la chronologie. »

C’est comme si tout avait eu lieu, mais que rien n’avait existé.

Vincent Garnier Pressiat et moi nous sommes rencontrés au Petit Palace. Ce genre de lieu où on commence à danser, et l’énergie d’une pièce se transforme.

Nous avons parlé des heures, une connexion particulière naissait après une période asservie par l’impossibilité d’assouvir nos désirs fous de danser.

PRESSIAT est une marque éponyme « no-gender » lancée en Mars 2021.
Fils d’une mère couturière pour les grandes maisons et petit-fils d’un tailleur, la technicité qui coule dans les veines de Vincent sillonne également les regards d’un publique envouté.

J’aime la façon dont il rend chaque corps, chaque contour, chaque visage beau… sans chirurgie (Make Me beautiful… vous avez la réf ?)… sans l’étiqueter « Diversité »… juste à travers son œil et son cœur aiguisés…  et d’une manière que nous ne soupçonnerions pas.

I took a break from the media for a few months, busy fulfilling one of my dreams.

That of 17-year-old Samia, with a level of self-confidence close to 0: drawing, going to fashion school, a dream that I was told was impossible for a girl of my "condition"... so at 38, I jumped !

Not without sacrifice! It meant giving up a "social status" for a time, a career, a comfort acquired through hard work and persistence;

even more, to take "tough decisions", to give up more personal things, to put aside (temporarily) my desire for pregnancy and a project of IVF, in my approaching 40th, flourishing certainly, nevertheless galloping.
Life is made of priorities and harmony with our inner temple.

"...The end of a world as we know it"
I always say that the metaphor of death is not something sad, but a transformation, a time of awakening of consciousness. Like the cycles of the seasons, the natural completion of things. The end is often painful but something dies in itself, to make room for growth or a life in another form.

Like this world, I'm in transition

2 years ago I decided to achieve this solid goal by integrating the MBA from . The ambitious project:

CAN SOCIAL INNOVATION, SOCIAL BUSINESS AND LUXURY ENTER INTO CONVERSATION?

I question how creation could respond to the challenges of refugee artisans in France and other talents that are under-represented in the fashion and luxury industry. Create dialogues between these two worlds to give them more visibility and a global positive impact.
