Great drill to work on ball protection through your anchor foot
The journey in shooting for me has been trying to master every small detail I can.. hand placement, how the ball leaves the finger tips, consistency of wrist snap, elbow extension, height of the release, timing of the release, building your base, foot work on the catch, building rhythm off of different situations (curls, off the dribble, flares, etc..), how to create consistency on creating the same motion every time, how much leg/wrist power you need from different distances, the height of the arc, being able to shoot from different shot pockets, getting into flow states for long periods of time.. it’s a fun journey and if you’re like me, fine tuning as many details as I can while keeping the fluidity of motion creates a smooth picture. Yes shooting is also a natural act, but it can definitely be enhanced and developed. It will require constant improvement
