Soooo, y'all know how I haven't acted since like 2018?

Well we were cleaning out our storage and I found a disc with photos and reviews from one of my last shows, "Cardboard Piano" at West End Players. I never even looked at them after the show, but reading this review and seeing these photos really struck me. I know I did one more show after this one, but this and "Titus Andronicus" I consider my last great performances. I was SO locked in and so ready to give myself to these roles.

One day I'll get back to it, probably not anytime soon here in St. Louis, but perhaps elsewhere. I have thought about auditioning for films again, I do miss being on film sets.

Idk, this was just brought me a strange little bit of melancholy and pride. All of the reviews said some variation of this and I couldn't help but smile while reading them. I really did leave on a high note. ✨️

These photos broke my little slice of the internet when they dropped 9 years ago. I remember shooting with the absolutely fabulous Kimberly N and the freedom to explore a duality that existed deep in my heart and it was so fun and easy to slide into the masculine and feminine parts of myself.

I looooove these images still and love who I am the the ways I explore myself and my identity.
