So much happened in our 2025/26 Season, it’s hard to know where to start…

Our twentieth anniversary album, Standard Stoppages, received TWO Grammy nominations at the 2026 Awards, for “Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance, Classical,” and “Best Engineered Album, Classical.” We are proud to have released music that we believe in so strongly, showcasing some of our most ambitious collaborations and illustrating what magic can be made when composers and performers build meaningful artistic partnerships together.

This season took TCP all around the globe, with performances in Italy, France, Latvia, Montenegro, and Serbia; Washington, D.C, Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, New York, and of course our hometown, Chicago. We toured several of our new performance programs, including “Murmurs in Time,” featuring our friend Salar Nader on tabla; “Strum, Strike, Bend” featuring the incredible Simone Porter on violin, “Time Pieces: The New Classical,” our 20th anniversary program, and brand-new arrangements of Bruce Goff's “Piano Rolls,” presented in full suite for the first time. Thanks to New Music USA's Organization Fund for helping us pursue such a robust and ambitious Chicago Season!

And perhaps most exciting, we recorded our next album! VERNACULAR, featuring Jlin, will release October 23, 2026 on all platforms and in a double-vinyl edition. Thanks to the Banff Centre for Art and Creativity for offering us a January residency to provide the time and space to work on this project.
