The wait has been way too long. I want to thank all the members of the band that helped these songs to come to life in a way I never thought possible, and of course Zakarias Lindhammar on the beautiful mixing and mastering.

The 29th of April the first ever single of the Sam Josef band is released. It will contain two songs, a high energy Rock'n'Roll Sketch by the name of: "Die This Second", and a quaint and somber ballad named simply: "Simple Song".

The single is a first look at our upcoming full length album being released closer to summer, the music is supposed to be earnest and draws heavily from american roots music, Power Pop a'la Nick Lowe, and good old Rock'n'Roll.

In what seems like an infinite wait for our next show I’ve started looking back at some beautiful pictures (expertly taken by Stina Larsson) from the time right before we recorded what is to be our first album, which I’m guessing people might’ve forgotten about since our last post. It’s still in the works and you can be expecting more formal news about it in the coming weeks! In the meantime please enjoy what little and sparse content I’ve been able to scavenge from the archives.

Sam Josef met for the first time in ages to rehearse! A few new songs were tried out. A lot of good times and a few good beers aswell.
Our album is currently being mixed and the plan is to release it come summer, together with a subsequent tour! Keep your eyes and ears peeled.
