Para un moscovita, lo más inusual en Cuba, y en los trópicos en su conjunto, es que visualmente poco cambia con el tiempo. Especialmente durante la cuarentena.
Entraste en tu cueva en marzo, asomaste la nariz por la ventana; cálido y soleado: primavera. Saliste a fumar, cálido y soleado: verano. Arrastrándose para fumar, cálido y soleado: otoño. Y se acerca el invierno.
Lo que está cambiando aquí en Cuba eres tú mismo. Y la gente que te rodea. Y se desconoce quién está cambiando más rápido.

For a Muscovite, the most unusual thing in Cuba, and in the tropics as a whole, is that visually little is changed over time. Especially during quarantine.
You got into your cave in March, stuck your nose out the window - warm and sunny: spring. You went out for ci******es - warm and sunny: summer. Crawled out to smoke - warm and sunny: autumn. And winter is coming.
What is changing here in Cuba is you yourself. And the people who surround you. And it is unknown who is changing faster.
