What a week!! and joined us for the first concerts in the new .ecu City Campus - and it was phenomenal!

We are all so grateful to have worked and played alongside these guest artists, and would also like to extend this gratitude to the Newman family for making this possible.
And of course the biggest thankyou to the best musical director & organisational powerhouse in the biz, 🪇
Our newer players absolutely smashed it, and in only their third week of study - quite a remarkable effort 🌟🌟
We were also joined by some fantastic students from the Bachelor of Performing Arts course and the Aboriginal Performance course - we loved playing with you, you added another layer to our performance and it is so appreciated.

In this passionate multimedia experience, Pavan Hari creates an enchanting soundworld brimming with energy, magic, mystery and fun.  Defying Gravity also fires up the groove in Frank Zappa's legendary work 'The Black Page', a funky composition so filled with notes that the pages appear black, featuring Ben Cromie on kit!
