One of magical aspects of Deep Space's history is the range of guest dj's, live musicians, dancers and poets who collaborated with François K in the dj booth and on stage. Congrats to Deep Space guest artist Meshell Ndegeocello on her Grammy last night. We are honored to have welcomed everyone from Giorgio Moroder, DJ Kool Herc, the Last Poets, Gilles Peterson, Ursula Rucker, Carl Hancock Rux, Carlinhos Brown, King Britt, DJ Harvey, Cosmo, Mad Professor, Adrian Sherwood, Lee "Scratch" Perry + Subatomic Sound System to Carl Craig, Jamie XX, Joy Orbison, Rhythm & Sound, Scuba, Dj Spooky, Theo Parrish, Ron Trent, Mala, Derrick May, Dimitri From Paris and Juan Atkins. The list is massive! Resident dj François K's Deep Space mixes are all-encompassing; reflective of how dub's innovations had such a vast impact on so many genres and artists.
