Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepfathers, foster fathers, and father figures who make a difference in the lives of our families and communities.
Today, we celebrate the love, guidance, sacrifice, and hard work that fathers provide every day. Whether you're coaching from the sidelines, helping with homework, serving as a role model, or simply being there when it matters most, your impact is immeasurable.
Thank you for the strength, wisdom, and dedication you bring to the next generation. Wishing all fathers across our district and state a joyful and well-deserved Father’s Day surrounded by family and loved ones.
Happy Father’s Day!

It was an honor to welcome the Concord High School Boys Basketball Team to the State Capitol as we celebrated their incredible achievement as the 2026 MHSAA Division 4 State Champions!
This championship season was a testament to the hard work, determination, and teamwork displayed by these outstanding student-athletes. Their success has brought tremendous pride to the Concord community and serves as an inspiration to young people across our state.
I also want to extend special congratulations to Head Coach Marcus Gill Sr. on being named Coach of the Year. Coach Gill’s leadership, dedication, and commitment to developing both exceptional athletes and outstanding young men have been instrumental in the team's success.
Thank you to the players, coaches, families, school staff, and supporters who helped make this championship season possible. We are proud to recognize your accomplishments and celebrate all that you have achieved.
Congratulations once again, Champions! 🏆🏀

Today, we remember and honor the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the Allied forces who landed on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.
On this D-Day anniversary, we pay tribute to the brave men and women whose actions helped change the course of history and defend the values of freedom and democracy.
Their legacy reminds us that courage in the face of adversity can shape a better future for generations to come.
We will never forget their sacrifice.
