“Open me!” Who can resist such an invitation? I opened this circus tent in the plaza of Denver’s Performing Arts Complex and was treated to a delightful scene: an orchestra performance with the Big Blue Bear and other well-known public artworks dancing along.

This isn’t AI generated. It’s a 3D zoetrope — a spinning diorama with tiny figures in slightly different positions. When you push a button it spins fast, a strobe light flashes, and your brain sees them as moving. Kind of like the old page-flip animation books. So charming!

A half-hidden pond and waterfall is one of the treasures to discover just walking along the sidewalk at @gardenwiseguykeith ‘s garden, which I toured today through the @thegardenconservancy Open Days Program. I saw Keith’s garden back in 2019 on the Garden Fling tour @thegardenfling , and it was wonderful to explore again.
