Last week when I flew from Orlando to Reno to be one of a dozen speakers at the NASRO National Conference (National Association of School Resource Officers).

I had only one objective: to ensure the men and women who protect our nation's greatest assets, and our nation's greatest resources: our youth, were empowered, inspired, educated, and motivated to continue to serve in excellence.

My intention was for them to feel seen, heard, understood, valued, and appreciated. I wanted to leave them with tools to not just do a better job, but to be better human beings. I used data, case studies, my book - The STOP, Trivia, and even the Bible to get them to understand that their mission, protecting our young people, is Divine.

We discussed everything from implicit bias to teen bias trivia to mental wellness.

After the presentation several people came up to me and expressed what I'm about to share with you now. I am going to start hiring a videographer to travel with me or to find one at the location because these moments within my workshops are transformative, highly interactive, inspirational and often times pure genius. To God be the Glory.
