Incident Report:
Romeo 1 received information regarding the theft of an orange 9kg gas bottle from 2 Von Maltitz. The complainant later spotted the suspect in Lavender Road, where Romeo 1 and Romeo 3 successfully located and detained him after he attempted to flee.

The complainant provided video footage of the theft, and the suspect matched the clothing description. The suspect admitted to stealing the gas bottle and was handed over to SAPS (SI38) for further investigation. A criminal case was opened.

The stolen gas bottle was not recovered.
