Latsha to lead Springbok Women in Cape Town Babalwa Latsha will lead the Springbok Women in the first of two international friendlies against the Blacks Ferns XV on Saturday, with both matches to be played at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town.

Free State Women's Club Rugby Returns with Thrilling Fixtures

The Mangaung Metro Women's League is set to resume this weekend, with a mouth-watering top-of-the-table clash and a mini USSA showdown at St. Andrews High School field. Defending champions Collegians Valkyries will take on the undefeated TRA-Spartans in a battle for supremacy, as both teams sit level on 20 log points each. The match, scheduled to kick off at 15h00, promises to be an intense and closely contested affair.

In other fixtures, CUT Phoenix will face off against Sol Plaatjie in a battle of university teams, while Wolverines will host Botshabelo at the University Sports fields at 13h30. Unfortunately, the fixture between Colesberg Queens and Tempe Badgers has been cancelled.

All matches are scheduled to kick off at 13h30, except for the top-of-the-table clash between Collegians Valkyries and TRA-Spartans. Rugby fans are encouraged to attend one of the venues and support the ladies as they continue their quest to become Free State Champions.
