You have found a tribe of like-minded individuals and have alliances that support a purpose-driven existence. You are guided by a strong intuition and are able to mentor others. Yes, this is the level of self-actualization. Maslow believed it wasn’t sustainable. I dare you to prove him wrong. His work followed two world wars. We live in a very different reality. If you can’t be optimistic, please put your little token down. This game might not be for you. This stage is about internal cohesion; Synthesis; joy and wisdom.

Whatever you choose to believe about this life, you are here. And the first 7 years of your life were shaped as much by your family of origin as it was by your reaction to it. Aristotle is supposed to have said, ‘Give me a child for the first seven years and I will show you the man’. The psychological development (what goes on beneath the surface of your life and runs the show), of Levels 1 and 2 were established before you ever had any real choice in the matter.
