It's that time of the year again- winter is coming and so is the dreaded flu virus! ๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿฆ
Don't forget to vaccinate the whole family- those little ones under 6 months are too young for their own vaccine and rely on you to keep them safe ๐Ÿฉท๐ŸŒˆ

โฆ Donโ€™t overschedule. Stick with your childโ€™s regular sleep and mealtime schedules as much as possible.

โฆ If youโ€™re invited to a gathering, bring your own food for your picky eater.

โฆ Holiday treats are a festive part of the season, but use moderation.

โฆ Get outside. Exercise and sunlight can be game-changers!

โฆ Take care of yourself. Rested, self-regulated parents go a long way to ensuring your childโ€™s emotional regulation.

โฆ Keep in mind sensory processing issues โ€“ that cute party outfit or the bright lights may not work for your family.

โฆ Keep children engaged by letting them make gifts, cards or holiday dรฉcor.

โฆ Avoid digital gifts for young children.

โฆ Encourage gratitude and giving by contributing to a toy donation campaign.

๐ŸŒˆ Among all the chaos and madness in the world lately, we need to rely on science and facts to make the best decisions for our kid's health!

Vaccines are absolutely safe, and I still fully support all our little ones receiving the full schedule of immunisations as recommended. If you have any questions or concerns please feel to reach out and chat further ๐Ÿ’œ

Some individuals wrongly assert there is a link between vaccines and autism. Before the claim was discredited, researchers took it seriously, investigated it thoroughly, and found no link. This research, in many countries, involving thousands of individuals, has spanned multiple decades. Any effort to misrepresent sound, strong science poses a threat to the health of children and does a disservice to the autistic community.

Immunizations are important to help children stay healthy, so they can learn, grow and thrive. If parents have questions about vaccines or autism, we encourage them to talk to their childโ€™s pediatrician. Learn more: https://bit.ly/4nI0Rnb

The sun is shining and the birds are singing- Spring has officially sprung! ๐ŸฅUnfortunately, the pretty flowers and blossoming gardens come hand in hand with allergies for some of our patients (and their parents!)
๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿชป๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒผ

If you notice persistent coughing, congestion or sneezing in your little one, it may be due to an allergy. Proper treatment can make springtime much more manageable- so please visit your paediatrician if you are concerned.๐ŸŒฟ

For those kiddies who are already on chronic treatment, please remain diligent so that they can enjoy their fun in the sun without any distractionsโ˜€๏ธ

Happy Spring Day!!!
