Meet Ray

For the past 25 years, I've worked in two worlds that are often kept separate: the pool deck and the gym floor.

As a Swim Coach, Strength & Conditioning Coach, Personal Trainer, and active competitive swimmer, I've seen firsthand how athletic performance is shaped by what happens both in and out of the water.

Many coaches understand swimming technique.

Many trainers understand strength and conditioning.

My passion lies in bridging those two worlds.

I help athletes build the strength, mobility, stability, and resilience needed to perform better, move more efficiently, and reduce their risk of injury.

Over the years, I've worked with swimmers of different ages and abilities, while continuing to compete myself as a Masters swimmer. Staying actively involved in the sport gives me a practical understanding of the challenges athletes face—from balancing training and recovery to pursuing performance goals at every level.

Today, I specialise in strength and conditioning for swimmers, rider-specific fitness for equestrians, and hybrid race preparation. My approach combines evidence-based training with real-world coaching experience to help athletes train with purpose and achieve sustainable results.

Whether your goal is to swim faster, ride stronger, prepare for competition, or simply become a stronger, more capable version of yourself, my focus remains the same:
