A bit of an anticlimax after her previous interest in the passing Springbok herd but I suppose they are probably just too small and fast to justify a hunt, especially in the middle of the day!

Not the most unusual of subjects, but I was playing with my new Nikon Z9 and got a picture of this Cape Robin in the garden at home. The Z9 really is an amazing piece of technology and will be posting more photos taken with it shortly.

This close-up of a Serval was taken at Tenikwa. Servals have the largest ears and longest legs (relative to body size) of any wild cat. These are hunting adaptations - the ears allow them to hear ultrasonic rodent sounds and the long legs enable them to jump up to 12 feet in the air to catch birds or insects.
