Applications for the Cape Skills and Employment Accelerator project are open.

The Cape Skills and Employment Accelerator project, which the City funds, trains unemployed South Africans, aged between 18 and 35, for roles in call centres.

Cape Town is the first municipality to work with the National Skills Fund to roll out this programme that does not train just for training sake.

We designed this programme provide skills pipelines for these high growth sectors and to supply trained and work-ready employees.

Successful applicants will be accepted into a 12-month learnership programme, where you’ll receive accredited training, a monthly stipend allowance and workplace experience in Cape Town.
