ProMud introduces a superior jointing and skimming solution to the South African market.
This is a quick look at what we’re currently supplying at ProMud.
We offer a drywall jointing compound, along with the tools needed to apply it properly, including stainless steel taping knives in different sizes and a mud pan for holding and working the compound as you go.

We’re ProMud, a family-run business based in Cape Town.
After more than 15 years in construction, one thing became very clear to us - drywalling is often made harder than it needs to be. A lot of the products available locally are overpriced, inconsistent, or just don’t perform well on site.
ProMud started because we wanted better options. We now source drywall compound and tools that we’re genuinely happy to use ourselves, on real jobs, not just on display.
At the moment we deliver personally within roughly three hours of Cape Town so we can make sure things are done properly. We’ve had to pause nationwide shipping for now after a logistics issue, but as we grow, we’ll be expanding delivery to other parts of South Africa, starting with Johannesburg in the near future.
