On Saturday the 15th of October, Launchpad Foundation brough three magical children's authors to where the children are in partnership with READ AND LEAD, a Midrand-based children's book club.

Stories were read, books bought and signed and magical moments captured for posterity.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Elaine Macdonald has been a successful author, scriptwriter and children’s
television presenter for over 20 years; during this time she has written over
1000 educational television scripts. She was one of the main authors of the
Readers are Leaders series of books, which have been translated into all official
languages and are widely prescribed in schools throughout the country. She
has also written an anthology of short stories for the Grade-R syllabus. This is
the final book in the ‘I See’ series featuring Africa’s iconic Big Five mammals.
