I learnt something about myself recently.

While I can juggle many things, I actually do my best work with structure.

Running two demanding roles at the same time meant I was constantly switching gears. And while that looked productive from the outside, it was not serving my work or my clients at the level I expect of myself.

So I have made a deliberate change.

Instead of splitting my focus every day, I am now dedicating specific days to each role. This allows me to be more present, more thorough, and more intentional with the work I deliver.

For Yoak & Co, that means focused design and print days where nothing competes for attention. Fewer mistakes, clearer communication, and stronger oversight from start to finish.

This might be unorthodox. But neither I nor this business was ever built to fit a standard mould.

Structure gives me clarity. And clarity leads to better work.
