ππ Real Heroes Show Up When It Matters Most ππ
In an emotional and high-pressure medical emergency earlier today, our teams were dispatched to a residence in Letchworth following a distress call reporting that a baby was not breathing.
Multiple response units arrived on scene within minutes, where they were met with a deeply distressing situation. The infant showed clear signs of respiratory distress, and every second counted.
In that critical moment, A/R JP Weyers from District Group acted swiftly and decisively. Through calm, trained intervention, he was able to relieve the obstruction, allowing the baby to start breathing again.
A life saved. A family spared unimaginable loss.
Securemed arrived shortly thereafter and conducted further medical assessments, before safely transporting both mother and baby to Panorama Hospital for additional care and observation.
We want to take a moment to recognise JP for his professionalism, composure, and commitment to protecting life. This is what true service looks like. This is what it means to stand in the gap when it matters most.
As a leading emergency response service, we remain committed to serving every member of our community with the same level of urgency, care, and professionalism, no matter the situation.
Today is a reminder of why we do what we do.
π Well done to all responding units:
