Conservation in Action with Project Rhino to be given by Carlien Roodt, Director of Project Rhino Alliance NPC. Carlien is an ecologist, and experienced field guide; she served as the Assistant General Manager for Madikwe Conservancy before joining Project Rhino in 2018.
When: Wednesday 12th Nov 2025
Time: 18h00 for 18h30.
Where: Hebron Haven Hotel, Dargle
Cost: R150pp Dargle Conservancy Members, R180pp Non Members for Talk and Meal.
A delicious 2 course dinner will be served afterwards.
Menu: Beef Moussaka and salad or Veg Moussaka.
Dessert : Tiramisu.

Upcoming 1 November Event: Mark’s Mushroom Meanders
The Dargle Conservancy invites you to join Mark Henstock for an enchanting adventure into the hidden world of fungi…right on our doorstep! Uncover dazzling colours, rare treasures and nature’s amazing secrets.
When: Saturday, 1st November 2025.
Where: Ferndene Farm, signposted from the D17, Dargle.
Time: 10h30 for 11h00 start. +-2Hrs.
Cost: R200 per person, ½ price for kids 12 and under.
Limited to only 20 people per event.
Proceeds go to the Dargle Conservancy for environmental and community education projects.

Frog Presentation and Night Walk for the kids and young at heart with Charlene Russell, Environmental Educator and Wetland Ecologist MSc (Wildlife Science) from Groundtruth.
When: Wednesday 8th October 2025.
Time: 18h00 for 18h30.

*Charlene will give a 20min presentation inside followed by a 30min night walk outside to go hunting for frogs. Please bring a headlamp or torch if doing the night walk, gumboots or water shoes, towel or a change of clothes for over-enthusiastic younger catchers is a good idea! Those staying for dinner will be served from 19h30.
