🛠️ One Week to Go: Help Us Light the Way

Next week, Hidden Halos will be taking the first practical step in launching the HH Lighthouse Project by assisting our pilot host family with much-needed home maintenance and improvements.

This family has already opened their home and hearts to boys who needed safety, stability, routine and belonging. Now, we want to help make their home more suitable, safe and comfortable for the boys already in their care.

On our maintenance day, we hope to focus on:

• Toilet flush mechanisms and toilet seats
• Bathroom ceiling repairs
• Rehinging kitchen cupboards
• Repairing a leaking kitchen sink drainage pipe
• Repairing water-damaged shelving/cupboards
• Laminated flooring join repairs
• Windowpane repairs
• Small plaster and water-damage repairs near the bathroom door
• Ceiling/cornice leak repair in the lounge/dining area

We are asking our community to get involved.

If you are able to assist with materials, labour, plumbing, handyman work, ceiling repairs, cupboard repairs, flooring, glass/window repairs, insulation, painting, or general maintenance support, we would be incredibly grateful.

This is not about luxury renovations.
It is about helping create a home environment where boys can rest, grow and feel a sense of belonging.
