3 Important Things To Start Doing Today To Enjoy Your Life

1️⃣. Spend time with the people you love.
2️⃣. Find and engage in a hobby (TV or scrolling do not count).
3️⃣. Earn (money, skills, experience, reputation, prestige, honor, etc.) a living.

The change that occurs when the environment in which we make a decision turns creates a situation where the rules which we had established to make decisions also may need to change provided the changing environment is drastically dissimilar to the previous environment.

Take for instance the change that occurs when we transition from secondary school to the workplace. This change in environment requires that we change our way of thinking and decision-making to function well in the new work environment.

In politics, the end of apartheid demanded a new way of thinking and decision-making in the new "gravy train" era of democracy. After the gravy train was the new era of "African Renaissance" followed by the "Radical Economic Transformation" era which in itself required new rules of decision-making to survive. And now we exist in the era of a government of national unity requiring that we review again our decision-making rules.

What this all means is that we have to constantly revise our beliefs, values, and social norms to conform to the "new normal" in which we constantly find ourselves.

Are we willing and equipped enough to do this?
