Compassion in Action: Stepping Forward for the Forgotten
"Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?" - Matthew 25:44
As Team Seipei For Christ, we believe in availing ourselves for our community, especially those in need. Recently, we witnessed a heartbreaking scene where a community judged and crucified a criminal, leaving him to die alone.
But we didn't stand idly by.
We stepped forward to intervene, ensuring his dignity was restored even in death. We bid him farewell in a decent and respectful manner, showing compassion and love.
Why?
Because every life has value in God's eyes.
Because every soul deserves dignity and respect.
Because we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Reflection:
As we reflect on this experience, we're reminded that:
1. Judgment belongs to God alone.
2. Compassion knows no boundaries.
3. Every act of kindness can change a life.
