The purpose of God will invariably prevail, regardless of the circumstances. This notion is exemplified by the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. Despite enduring numerous adversities, such as rejection by his own brothers, the hardship of being confined in a pit, imprisonment, and false accusations by Pharaoh's wife, Joseph remained steadfast in his dreams. These challenges, including imprisonment, rejection, and accusations, did not deter his focus; instead, he persevered with the conviction that he would ultimately achieve greatness. The pain and obstacles that may appear as hindrances in our lives often serve as stepping stones towards our aspirations. The divine purpose will inevitably manifest, irrespective of the situation. It is essential to remain steadfast and hold on.

One of the greatest problem in African Christianity is that we love building doctrine on experience which is very subjective. We want to come up with a teaching based on a personal encounter we had and build a doctrine which everyone should be subjected to. We want people to understand God based on our experience or other people's experience. The danger with this approach is that it is short lived. True doctrine is coming into terms with the truth that the ultimate source of salvation is CHRIST, believing in what he did on the cross of Calvary for you. We need to teach Christ and not our experience, people should be pointed towards the finished work of Christ and not our experience . John 3:16 .....who so ever believes in him(CHRIST )should not perish but have everlasting life..... Christ is the only way
