I stopped buying into the “girl’s girl” thing on social media a while ago because a lot of y’all are only girl’s girls under certain circumstances and conditions.

You’re a “girl’s girl” until that girl is living the lifestyle you desired. Until that girl possesses something you haven’t yet acquired or attained, whether it be materialistic/tangible or something internal like her character & her glow.✨

You’re a “girl’s girl” until that girl surpasses you in business, in beauty, in blessings. That’s not sisterhood! That’s selective support.

You’re only kind, honest, understanding, supportive, genuine & loving to the women around you that you feel like aren’t a threat. Every woman who is you become obsessed with trying to humble, study & imitate, out-do, or villainize.

So for those reasons, I’m not big on being a “girl’s girl” or being around women who scream that they are. I like being around secure women with their own mind, passions, style, personality, blessings & creativity. The real will always gravitate.🫶🏾
