STARTING TOMORROW: PREPARING OUR HEARTS FOR BAAL PERAZIM

“The LORD has broken through my enemies before me like the breakthrough of waters.” Therefore he called the name of that place Baal Perazim (2 Samuel 5:20)

Baal Perazim was not born out of comfort, but out of a battle. Faced with a challenge greater than himself, David chose not to rely on his own strength or wisdom. He sought the Lord, and God gave him a breakthrough that became a testimony.

Many desire a breakthrough, but few realise that breakthrough begins with seeking God. Before there was victory, there was prayer. Before there was a testimony, there was obedience. Before there was Baal Perazim, there was dependence on God.

As we begin our Believers Prayer Convention tomorrow, let us come with hearts that are ready to seek God. Let us come expecting His presence, His direction, and His power. The God who broke through for David at Baal Perazim is still breaking through for His people today through Jesus Christ.

Whatever battle you may be facing, remember that God is still the Lord of Breakthroughs. Your situation is not beyond His power, your challenge is not beyond His reach, and your testimony may be closer than you think.
