*Maleh Queens FC → Oxford Queens Football Club*

*Date:* 8th May 2026

Oxford Queens Football Club wishes to inform our players, supporters, partners, and the football community that *Maleh Queens Football Club will officially change its name to Oxford Queens Football Club effective 1st June 2026*

*WHY THE CHANGE*
Following a permanent sponsorship agreement signed with Oxford Company Ltd, the Club will rebrand to align with our title sponsor and strengthen our position in women’s football in Zambia. This partnership will bring improved resources for player development, training facilities, and community programs in Kitwe and across the Copperbelt.

*WHAT STAYS THE SAME*
1. The Club’s history, records, and achievements from 2022 to 2026 under Maleh Queens FC are fully retained and will continue under Oxford Queens FC.
2. Our mission to develop female football talent, promote discipline, and uplift young women through sport remains unchanged.
3. The Club’s colors of Dark Green, Yellow, and White will continue as our identity.

*WHAT CHANGES*
1. Club name: Oxford Queens Football Club [OQFC]
2. Club badge and branding will be updated ahead of the 2027 season.
3. All FAZ registrations, contracts, and affiliations will transfer to the new name.

*MESSAGE TO OUR SUPPORTERS*
To our players, parents, fans, and partners: thank you for building Maleh Queens FC into what it is today. This is the next step forward. We are still the same team, same family, same ambition. Just a stronger name and stronger backing as we aim for the FAZ National Women’s Super League.

The Club will host a rebranding launch event before the 2027 season. Details will be shared soon.
