You could have had patience with me,
You could have waited a little longer.

Who had the strength
To hold on to something already breaking?
Who had the time
Waiting for the dawn, just to sleep the pain away?

The smile fades,
This face can’t fake it anymore.
A laughing stock ,
Still believing .
what an embarrassment.

Hoping it would be different,
But the view never changed.
So innocent is my little heart,
Drowning in its own tears.
Healing itself in a fairy too far to reach.

Locked 🔒 within,
Yet burning through silent tears.
So naive my little heart.
A mind in dilemma,
Trapped in its own lockdown state.
