Galatians 5:22 CEV- God's Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful,

My dearest grandma and girlfriend as I called her was a strong woman who embodied her name. She lived upto her name and united many of us for years. She ensured the family stayed connected such that we became family even with her closet friends.
She always went above and beyond for those she loved and it didn't matter to her if she was well or not. She always sacrificed to make sure we were all okay regardless of whether you were from her side of the family or grandpa's side of the family; she was never the type to segregate.
For me, Grandma was there for me in every failure and every success, she went with me to every hospital visit, watched me dance, watched me grow and consistently spread Jesus Christ to us. I watched her serve the church and family diligently, I watched work hard towards things she set her mind on.
Despite her being sick in the past few years I saw her strength and resilience to want to get back on her feet and still restlessly care for her loved ones until they're better.
Even though it wasn't easy I saw God in every moment, through every scar, through every moment when we didn't know what was wrong. I saw God's mercy, love and kindness towards us. He knew that we needed her a little after grandpa passed bit longer until this point in time.
I consider myself blessed to have had the opportunity to grow up with both my grandparents.
To my dearest younger siblings, I want you to know that grandma loved each and everyone of you no matter how far you were. There's not a day that went by where she didn't ask about your well-being. Even though she couldn't tell you herself I'm here to say on her behalf that I love you all. She was very proud of each one of you.
Grandma I will miss you dearly. I will our conversations, holding your hand, worshipping with you amongst other things. I'm eternally grateful to have had you in my life.
Today I want to honor the life she lived because she lived not because I am not heartbroken but because I am certain that she is finally resting in peace. Many of us are here not only because of her death but because of the life she lived and how it impacted us.
Mubanga means strong tree and the Lord knew she was the strength we needed to stay united and it is my prayer as the eldest grandchild it is my prayer that that legacy may leave on.
May Her Soul Rest in Peace.
