Introducing Eldridge Jempa!

Around here we call him Coffee, not because of his skin tone but because he’s the kind of presence you don’t realize you needed until he’s there. Smooth, steady, and somehow keeping everything together.

Coffee is that guy who sings everything; tenor, baritone, basston you name it!… and yes, he boldly attempts bass (we’re still reviewing that application 😌). But what really sets him apart? His ear for notes. The man hears things the rest of us are still trying to locate.

Chilled, laid back and never the loudest in the room but always present. The quiet engine behind the harmony, subtly keeping us on beat like it’s second nature. And apparently… he writes songs too 👀 (we’re still waiting for the album, sir).

In a group full of voices, Coffee is the calm in the sound... steady, reliable, and lowkey essential.

Introducing Willard Sayowa!
Known for the red car.
Easygoing, yet somewhat reserved, he is the kind of person you can easily misjudge if you don’t really know him.
Deeply passionate about music, Willard is one of the group's composers and the mind behind the song "Tengani".
Rumour has it… he’s a vocalist.
He serves as the group's director, and as for his voice?
Well… we’re still not entirely sure. 😄
Director Alemba Fyoonse!

On Personal Branding

Today we had the privilege of ministering and worshipping with the Kitwe Teaching Hospital Seventh-day Adventist Campus Ministry. We also heard from Elder Mayundano Siyanga (yes, the same man from the CBU Dean of Students office).

He shared a powerful message on personal branding. Here are a few key takeaways:

• Brands are built for easy recognition: Everyone knows Nike by the tick.
• Position yourself strategically: Good grades and good behavior are no longer enough, who you know matters just as much as what you know.
• Show up: Attend events, meet people, make connections, people recommend those they know.
• Be intentional: From how you dress to how you speak and act, everything communicates.
• Use social media wisely: Build your presence early, but remember, it can either work for you or against you.

We’re often told not to judge a book by its cover but more often than not, the cover says a lot.

What kind of cover are you showing the world?

Introducing Alexander Hikanyemu.

Every group needs leadership… but every now and then, you get someone who doesn’t just lead, he carries it.

Alex is the founder and chairperson of the group, and we love him for his genuineness, generosity, and friendliness.

Never overbearing, never easily provoked; he’s one of the easiest people to relate to.

Commitment, consistency, and diligence are not just qualities he has… they’re part of who he is.

And through it all, he remains humble and deeply committed to the work of the Lord.
In the group, we call him Ba CEC, and we truly thank God for giving us such a chair.

He sings sop...oh, sorry, first tenor.

Introducing Mumba K***a!

The ground that keeps the triads afloat.

Calm and collected, yet full of depth.
Mumba is the kind of person you don’t fully understand at first glance, but there’s a quiet brilliance behind the composure.

Chilled by nature, but undeniably charismatic, he’s not afraid to take the first step and stands out as someone you can truly depend on.

Holding it all down as our bass, Mumba brings stability to the sound, while also serving as our programs coordinator.

Introducing Philemon Ngwira!
Known as the most frank member of the group. We love him for his ability to tell it like it is.
A software engineer by profession but a hard hitter by definition. His commitment to the work of the Lord is as strong as his constant pursuit of growth.
Rumour has it he can speak Chinese… so when you see him, you know what to do.
He is our backing second tenor and midlock genius and also serves as one of our media and content managers.

Introducing Edward Chondoka!
A humble, yet confident man.
“We all know the song ‘There is power in the blood’… and this man knows a thing or two about how to keep power flowing. If you know, you know.”
Serving as another mitochondria (you’d think one is enough, but here we are), Edward is our second lead tenor.
He also serves as our secretary and treasurer.

Introducing Lesansunga Mulunda!
The tallest man in our group. If you've met him you'll agree with us on two things. One, he was probably looking down at you, and two, his radiant smile probably lifted you up. His ability to navigate between eleagant seriousness, and cheerful friendliness makes him stand out as someone you can confide in and rely on.
In the group he is one of our powerhouses (the mitochondria), serving as one of our lead tenors.
A doctor by profession, when he's not attending to patients at the ward, he's working with christ to heal souls in need of Gods grace.
He also serves as our stylist (if you ever see us looking good, it's definitely his doing), and if we don't... well, you probably don't want to know what happens behind closed doors in that case💀
