You have been through enough to be bitter. But you are still here. Still believing. Still standing.

That is where roots grow. An oak of righteousness does not grow in a hurry. It grows deep. It grows quiet. It grows in seasons that look like nothing is happening above ground while everything is happening below. Isaiah 61:3 does not describe a woman who had an easy road. It describes a woman who stayed rooted long enough to become unshakeable.

And that is what God is doing in you right now. While you are waiting. While you are wondering. While you are holding on by what feels like a thread. He is not absent. He is not distracted. He is not working on someone else’s breakthrough while yours sits on the back burner.

He is going deep in you. Building what the next season is going to require. Forming a foundation in you so solid that when the storm comes and it will come, you will not just survive it. You will still be standing when it passes. Unmoved. Unshaken. Rooted in something the storm could not touch.

Philippians 1:6 says He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. He did not start something in you to abandon it halfway. He does not begin and then walk away. He finishes what He starts. And He started something in you that is far from finished.

Your story is not over. Your breakthrough has not passed you by. Your best chapters are not behind you.

The root system being built in you right now in this hard quiet season is going to hold you through everything that is coming. And one day you are going to look back at this exact moment, this moment that felt like nothing and realize this was where God did some of His most important work in you.

Stay rooted. Stay faithful. Stay standing.
You are becoming unshakeable and you do not even fully see it yet.
