ZED is now powered by "the Zambia We Want-ZWW" hence the brand name "ZED/ZWW"

ZED/ZWW is about giving Zambians "Functional" National Unity, Good Governance & Economic Prosperity!

ZED/ZWW in government shall be premised on 7No. Pillars namely SES-W-FES i.e.

1. Sovereignty of the people of Zambia in "university" (unity in diversity) with a common identity in progressive living

2. An Economy that works for the majority of the people i.e the economic value chains must in the main be inclusive of most Zambians.

3. Strong Systems of Governance (SSOG) so that the country is not governed well only out of the goodwill of the "great/infallible leader"! The said systems of governance-SOG shall be Fully DEVOLVED to the 1,624 WARDS of Zambia.

4. Watchdog governance institutions which bite to ensure that the SOGs above deliver to the people of Zambia. The ZED party in Government will give "Functional autonomy" to institutions like the Anti-Corruption Commission-ACC.

5. Guaranteed constitutional Freedoms especially of Expression and/or Assembly.

6. Equitable Meritocracy alone will guide appointments to the public, civil and other national offices. Skill, expertise and integrity shall be non-negotiable for the nation's most important public/national jobs!

7. Servant Leadership, full of Integrity and Selflessness is commitment demanded of all ZED leaders at any level in the party and/or government structures.
