Our Story

Nodi Trust Kindergarten and Pre-school is conveniently located in Phase II, Meanwood Ndeke Village, off Main Street, and is ideal for families in Meanwood Ndeke Village, Meanwood Vorna Valley, Chelstone and surrounding areas.
The school is managed by a Management Committee of experienced Educators and Business Management experts.
The school Principal and Head of Administration Ms. Florence Fares Phiri, has over thirty years of experience in administrative management and holds a Bachelor of Education, and Masters’ degree in Gender and Social Sciences. Ms. Phiri brings her extensive experience as former Chief Executive Officer/National Dirctor of SOS Childrens’ Villages Zambia and its schools in Zambia, to Nodi Trust School.
The school Head Teacher Ms. Mutale Chanda has over twenty years’ experience in Early Childhood education and pre-school management, and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
The school curriculum employs the Letter Land Reading Concept, alongside the Early Childhood syllabus recently approved by the Ministry of General Education. Our school curriculum emphasizes the concept of learning through play, which encourages active and resourceful learning, enabling children to actively contribute, initiate and explore their interests and ideas. The curriculum also includes socially interactive extra-curricular activities, offering children an inviting opportunity for exploration and discovery in a natural and attractive environment.
The school recruits students from the age of two to 10 years old for baby, Beginners’ Middle and Reception classes.
