Its not what u do but what he (christ) has done that justifies u in God's sight .........just come to the end of urself and stop tryng to let go of that addiction using ur own strength and realise that u need the saviour.

1 Peter 5:6-7

[7]casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

Humbling urelf is acknowledging that by ur own power u can't overcome and realising that u need the only true power of God who is Jesus Christ.
The process of letting go of ur addictions and burdens may be a hustle but act on the word which says casting all (leaving nothing) ur cares on him because he cares for u.
When the bible says he cares for u its depicting a relationship which has affection ...whereby inspight of all ur sins he is able to accept u and receive u the way u r.
That's amazing grace .......today confess and say God take over my life take all my burdens I place em all on u.
