1.Unsuitable Flooring: Hard, wire, or slick surfaces (plastic/metal cages) that don't cushion feet.This is the most common one for us.

2.Pressure/Weight: Heavy rabbits or those with long nails that shift weight to the heels.

3.Poor Hygiene: Damp bedding allows bacteria to break down skin.

4.Immobility: Reduced toe use increases hock pressure.
