Do you miss traveling as much as I do? βπ
Looking back at my life, I realize that this is the first time since 2012 that I don't have a plan to travel somewhere in January (or I am already on the move).
It particularly hurts me, because I was actually making a plan to jet off to an exotic π country that I love from the bottom of my heart β€ but then on the 2nd of January Thailand πΉπ went into partial lockdown again. And it just felt too risky.
Now I can only sit still reminiscing about my favorite destinations. Like Jordan π―π΄ (Petra in the picture βοΈ)
This has been the only trip that we took just me and my father so farπ¨βπ§Ant it was a few days of pure awesomeness! I was a bit doubtful in the beginning that our traveling styles will fall into place π€·π»ββοΈ but I couldn't be more wrong. The only time we disagreed on an activity was whether to climb up to that viewpoint where the picture βοΈ was taken. He thought that climbing up for an extra hour in the scorching sun βοΈ (when we still have so much more other climbing to do) just to take a picture, was not necessary. So I left him in the entertaining company of some bedouins with the cutest donkeys π΄ drinking tea β and singing songs, and I ran towards the top. It was so hot and there was no shade anywhere, except for in a few camps that bedouins would serve tea. I was in such a hurry not to leave my dad alone for so long, that I might have gotten a sunstroke or two, but ignored them so that I can get back down as quickly as possible. And (I don't want to say it out loud but...) he was wrong. It was so worth it going all the way up to that viewpoint! π The sight was more than beautiful, and I made a wish to go back again!
Even though we cannot travel yet the way we used to, we can still travel through our memories of awesome trips. So tell me, what was a trip you absolutely adored βββ Share in the comments below πππ It would be lovely to relive the adventures we keep so dearly in our memories β€

A wise man once said "You don't jump out of an airplane and stop halfway. It's all the way."
It is the risks that we take in life that define what our story would end up looking like. Whether it is jumping off from an airplane for fun, or starting your own business - risk taking is the most exquisite seasoning of this adventure we call life. And a dare you need to see through.
I can already vouch for the skydiving - the feeling is exactly what adrenaline junkies like me need every once in a while (or ever so often). Ask me again in a bit about the business starting part.
What is the biggest risk you ever took in you life? Was it for fun, for work, or did it combine the two? Would love to hear your stories in the comments! πππ

This year showed many of us that really, truly, life is all about how you handle plan B.
Last December at this time I was parting with one airline to take a little break and then join another carrier. During this break, I went to study Spanish in Cuba (keep on going Universidad de La Habana you guys are awesome!) and then was supposed to travel for a bit before I start training for my new job in September.
Well, yeah.
2020 had other plans. It was quite the nightmare having to leave Cuba with one of the last flights before the island got completely isolated; cross half of the world when everybody was scared to leave their house; spend 24 hours in the airport in Moscow, with no visa to enter the country, while flights were getting canceled every minute, not knowing if I will make it back home, or if I will be a real-life case of the movie "The Terminal".
And then the email came. I knew that I would get it one day, but it still hurt when I read the words "We regret to inform you that the process of you joining the airline has been put on hold."
Now what? Flying has always been one of my most favorite things. But besides that, it was my job. I was left without a perspective and completely lost.
I started looking up things to do online. I had come across the concept of a Virtual Assistant a few times before, and the idea seemed quite tempting. I started doing some research, but OMG there's so much info! I couldn't figure out where to start!
And then, on a random Facebook thread in one of the thousands of groups about traveling girls that I follow, I started a very interesting conversation with the lovely Ana Dobrevska Social Media & Podcast Manager. It was funny, we first spoke for a while in English before realizing we are both Bulgarian! She gave me all the info about the greatest course, as she swore.
And she was right!
I started the course a bit later without much doubt and quickly found out who Eshter Inman and her awesome team running the Virtual Assistant Internship are! The journey with them has been long, but I loved every minute of it!
And now, after all, I am a !
