In recent years, there has been an increased emphasis in society to be more aware of our physical health - exercise, food, sleep, staying clean. With an outbreak of a global pandemic, cleanliness took the forefront of “health”.

We are encouraged to sanitize, to wear masks, to socially distance - all protective measures to fight against the virus; and all a significant additional investment of time and money into ourselves.

But what about investing in peace of mind? Without it, life becomes a bit less precious - and life is certainly meant to be precious. We can improve everyday, with attention to the simpler things. We forget that with everything going on. Remember to focus and invest in what’s between your ears.

As the world eases restrictions and we return to “normality”, we must not forget that COVID19 is still very much amongst us and we must continue to remain vigilant and very aware to that. Be a small part of the reason that this pandemic slowly goes into the rear view mirror of history.

In the meantime - wear a mask, keep your distance, and wash your hands. Make simple, good choices. We are in this together - and we will get through this, together.
