Burj Khalifa as the tallest building is the landmark the whole city of Dubai revolves around. The views, proximity, and design all manifested into one incredible design building. An American architect Adrian Smith, who designed the tower while serving as a consulting design partner at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in Chicago. Construction began in 2004 and was completed in 2009.
